Seems like only yesterday
When we spread our wings
So anxiously to start life
Without knowing really how.
Our youth is our holiday
Where we used to be kings
And worries were not rife
Living only for the now.
Now is about the everyday
And more important things
Now life has no strife
Only blows that I dare avow.
