MY CONVERSATION WITH GOD (PART I)

So here I am before His presence trying to rationalize this moment but it seems like a fruitless exercise so I just going to go along with it anyway.
-First of all, Why am I here talking to You?
-PERHAPS YOU MAY HAVE SOME QUESTIONS YOU WOULD LIKE TO ASK.
-You stand correctly, but before I start with the interview, I would like to be able
to express myself and speak my mind.
-PROCEED.
-I think this whole human race experiment is not working really well. I mean, look at
us. We do not function logically. What I mean is we behave in a way that does not
make any sense at all. We, as humans, are supposed to do good things and strive for
making everything better instead of destroying ourselves and our planet.
Am I right?
-DO YOU THINK THERE IS NO HOPE FOR HUMANITY?
-Honestly I do not think there is, for I have seen so far.
-YOU REMIND ME OF JEAN PAUL A BIT, BUT YOUR CONCERNS ARE AUTHENTIC.
SINCE HUMAN BEINGS HAVE THE CHOICE TO DO GOOD OR TO DO EVIL THERE IS ALWAYS A
GLIMPSE OF HOPE.
-Yes. But the bad outweighs the good so much. It is hard to imagine a turn around
at this stage in our history. Do not get me wrong, I think there is many wonderful
things and many wonderful people who could make You proud, but it seems so little
in comparison with the majority making the wrong choices.
-HAVE YOU READ THE MANUAL?
-Which one?
There are many in several languages.
-YOU WILL FIND THAT ALL OF THEM REVEAL THE REAL NATURE OF MEN. HUMANS TEND TO FORGET
TO READ THE FINE PRINT SOMETIMES.
-We have forgotten the manual and decided that we know better. That maybe is one of
the reasons we are in this mess.
-IT WAS MEANT TO HELP, NOT TO DICTATE; TO GUIDE, NOT TO DECIDE. SO IN THIS MANNER
NOBODY WOULD PRETEND TO HOLD THE ABSOLUTE TRUTH.
-It makes sense. But still, we have decided we know You better and therefore, we
hold a poor record about it.
-REMEMBER IT IS NOT ABOUT ME. I AM WHO I AM AND ALWAYS WILL BE.
IT IS ABOUT WHICH SIDE YOU CHOOSE TO STAND.
-So are You telling me to hell with everybody as long I am fine?
Anyway just to let You know, I am more concern about this life that my afterlife.
I want to feel this life is worth of living without having to worry about later.
-FIRST, YOU ARE NOT TO BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE FATE OF OTHERS.
SECOND, IF THIS LIFE IS WHAT CONCERNS YOU, DO AS YOU BELIEVE IS RIGHT.
-Ahhhhh....Now I think I begin to understand....
